Dr. Vita... Finalist for NJBIZ
Health Care "Hero" Award

Based on his special focus on the causes and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint dysfunctions, Dr. Louis R. Vita, who has a general dentistry practice in Clifton, NJ, and created the Vita Head, Neck & Facial Pain Relief Center, was a finalist for the NJBIZ Hero Award in the Allied Healthcare category. NJBIZ is the weekly newspaper that reports on business and professional activities in the Garden State.

Dr. Vita was cited for his pioneering efforts on behalf of sufferers due to TMJ-related acute and chronic pain. Physicians, dentists and other healthcare professionals throughout New Jersey and the Northeastern United States regularly refer patients to Dr. Vita and the Vita Center in Clifton, New Jersey.

“This is a great personal honor, but it also recognizes the need to care for individuals who suffer with chronic and often debilitating pain caused by damage to the Temporomandibular Joint,” Dr. Vita noted. “These are real-life problems for real people caused by physical damage to the TMJ that was not recognized before the onset of MRIs and other technological advances.”
